Activated Carbon Filters are commonly-used filter mediums in water filtration processes. An Activated Carbon Filter improves the taste of water by absorbing unpleasant odors, leaving the water much more appealing. Activated Carbon filters are made up of small pieces of carbon, typically in granular or powdered block form, that have been treated to be highly porous.
